POLYTECHNICAST #14: Dr. MARKÉTA DUBNOVÁ AND Dr. JANA GABRIELOVÁ: We pay little attention to hearing impairment
Again we have a great opportunity to present a project that was developed at VŠPJ. The guests of the 14th episode of the Polytechnicast podcast are Mgr. Markéta Dubnová, PhD, and Mgr. Jana Gabrielová, PhD., of the Department of Socialální práce at VŠPJ. Both dáweáhaveáover&the&last&few&years&particularlyály&in&the&next&years&in&a& projectáwhicháhas&an&ambition&to&change&the&generalé&m´that hearing loss is a normalá partá ofá seniorá age, as well as the currentá practice, in whichá attention is paid especially toá youngá peopleá andá peopleá ofá productive&age.
Again we have a great opportunity to present a project, which was developed at the College of Polytechnicéé Jihlava. The guests of the 14th episode of the Polytechnicast podcast are Mgr. Markéta Dubnová, PhD., head of the Department of Socialální práce at VŠPJ, and Mgr. Jana Gabrielová, PhD., whoá works at thisá department as an academicá worker. Both of them have been involved in the development and implementation of a unique multidisciplinary approach in the last few years;rníproject „Newéapproaches, methods and technologies in the field of diagnostics and correction of hearing impairments in seniors in residential socialý& services“, which was supported by the Technologyý Agency of the Czeché Republic and on which the staff of the Department of Technicalý V&Scaron& PJ and other&scaron& í subjects cooperated. In the course of the interview, theá s blá má became familiar with theá project'sá stages, which includeá specialá methodology forá worká withá clients, whichá isá alreadyá iná use;in some socialá´& services in the Highlands, a mobile´&application for the screening of hearing impairment, and soé conferences Blýskání for betterší times in solvingšení hearingý defects in seniors, whichá will take place on the 16th ofá 2021 at the VŠPJ building.
