VŠPJ strives for the title of Building of the Year and Building of the Year of the Vysočina Region

The construction of the modernývýlearningécenter and the reconstruction of the adjacent northýwing of the historicýbývalécourthouse not only expanded the studentýlandécollegeé šcoly polytechnicé Jihlava by multifunctional´ premises including´ large-capacity´ auditoriumá and uniqueá vý learning factoryá but alsoé enriched the city of Jihlava with a unique architectural landmark. The originaláln´ interconnected´ modern´ch architecture with historicalý object, whichá according to theátopá of the Pragueého studio Qarta architecture was realized by the three&scaroná company Podzimek and sonsé s.r.o., arouses a well-deservedý ofá response not only in Jihlava, but alsoé among the professional and lay publicí in the wholeé Czeché Republic. This is also evidenced by the fact that in the present time, the artí ofí wallsí in two countries;Building of the Year 2021 and  Building of the Year of the Vysočina Region 2020.

This year the Building of the Year of the Vysočina Region competition will take place for the 29th time. The aim of the competition, according to the organizers of the association Stavba Vysočiny, is to present architecture and construction to the public and to appreciate the best new buildings and reconstructions that change the appearance of Vysočina in a qualitative way. Entries are judged by an expert jury, which takes into account, for example, amenities, architectural design, integration into the environment or space, and functional design from concept to detail in several categories.
