Tourism students succeed in international competition

Create a marketing plan for the Italian region of Fermo, including a range of activities that could be part of a m´ action plan – such a plan was the main ú ú round of the students' bacheloráThe students of the Travel & Tourism program at VŠPJ, who decided to enter the International Student Competition on Place Branding organized by University of Macerata in Anežka Dostálová, Dominika Miškovičová, Vojtěch Novák and Viktorie Vašková learned about the Viktorie Vašková in early April through an email from Dr. Martina Chalupové. „Everyý we signed up withám and byáthrow after the firstánán meeting; We learned that we are inštheiršthe&same&field,“ said first&year student Anežka Dostálová.

In view of the pandemic situation, the competition was held online via the Teams platform. „The competition took place over three days. Eaché rá rá weá met around tená hours and finished theá š meeting in theá afternoon. Afteré we just worked on&scaron& í presentation,“ said Anežka Dostálová. Through the Teams probíhalls soé interviews with producers of místníh products and presentations of the involved místníh representatives of místníh samospráhs, on the basis of which the students created the competition.

The absolute winners of the competition were the students of the University of Lodz from Poland, who came first in the evaluation of both the lecturers and the students. Tým of VŠPJ occupied the secondé mí hundred in lecturersí rating, in studentsí rating it was on the third mí in the part of the competition focused on social  m dia even won the competition. The students from the VŠPJ won a valuable prize of a bottle of wine made in the Fermo region for their artí in the competition. „I am ráda not only that we succeeded, but beforeám that we had fun at it as a group, even though it was really násty with náme;“ summed up heré impressions from the competition Dominika Miškovičová, a student of the secondé year of the program Tourism.
