Elections to the Academic Senate of the University of Applied Sciences are coming up. For the first time they will be held online

In týday on 4. and 5. May 2021 will be able to membersé academicé community of the &scaroné &scaroné Polytechnicé Jihlava iný significantly influence the futureá directioná of the &scaron& PJ iná the&scaron& PJ iná theá nextá three´ years. This will allow them to election, which will decide the new composition of the Academic Senate of the VŠPJ for a period of office from May 22, 2021 to May 22, 2024.

Academicý sená t is a democraticá institution, whichá has in itsá competence, amongá otherá suchá asá approvalá budgetá andá managementá, electioná ofá rectorá orá approvalá ofá councilá membersá andá selectedá strategicá documents. „The Academic Senate&á of the V&Scaron& PJ has a total of 15 members, five in the studentá chamber and 10 in the academicá chamber. While the students electá fromá the studentá chamber of sená, the academicá staff electá fromá the academicá chamber,“ uvá Mgr. Hana Vojáčková, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Technical Studies at the VŠPJ and current Chair of the Academic Senate of the VŠPJ. Due to the fact that the Academic Senate has both acute staff and students of the&scaron college, this institution serves as a fó rum for students to meet with teachers.

How to vote online in IS?

In thisšn´year, the elections for the Academic Senate of the VŠPJ will be held for the first time ever in electronic form due to the epidemicésituation. May at 11:00 and conclude on watchí day on Wednesday, May 5 at 2:00 pm.

Úoften´to&elect&the&election,&select&the&item&in&the&information&system&menu,&the&strong>AU&election &ásubsequently&the&item&under&the&strong>Election. After he clicks the green icon with the  on the Election, a window will open with the Votingílístack, on whichém can select the individualécandidates marked´m in theýber box. The maximum number of candidates that can be marked is indicated on this ballot box. Once the candidates have been selected, the ballot can be submitted by clicking on the green icon with the Submit letter. The system will then ask the ú ú voter if they really want to vote this way. After confirming OK, the choice is made. The voter can find out whether the vote has taken place úá in the information system. Confirmationí of the acceptanceí of the voter'sá vote fromá theá plane will arrive at his&scaron&colní e-mail.

The newly electedý Academicý Senateá VšPJ will meet for the first time on Wednesday, May 24, 2021.
