The deadline for submitting candidate applications via the Information & Communication System is Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.

Decisions´ thatá affectá the operation of highý colleges do not just arise in the air. The approval of the budget and management, the election of the Rector, the approval of the members of the Academic Council and selected strategic documents – these and manyé otheršTheá powers má in theiré competence of the academicý sená t, aá democraticá institution composedá ofá members of theá academicý staffá and studentsš colleges. „Academicý sená t VšPJ má a total of 15 members, five in the studenté chamber and 10 in the academicé chamber. Its members can be elected by means of a secret ballot by any member of the academic community, i.e. student or academic staff. While the students elect their &á fromá degree to the studentá chamber of the sená, the academicá workers elect their &á fromá degree to the chamber of the academicá,“ saidá Mgr. Hana Vojáá, Ph.D., záá head of the Department of Technicalý V&Scaron& PJ and chair of the Academic Sená V&Scaron& PJ (AS V&Scaron& PJ).

Eachý studentý and academicý staffý has aá unique&opportunity&to&influence&the&future&direction&of&the&scaron&college&in&a&significant&way,¬&only&by&electing&theýByúmáofásenátor,&but&also&by&actively&participating&in&the&student&or&academic&chamber&in&theúcase&ofácandidacy&for&the&AS&Scaron&PJ. Since the current rector, prof. Bá's secondá term of office will end in 2022, which is the maximumá period of time that one person can be the head of a publicá Highé šcolleges, the senátores will elect his/her nátion,“ saidádí the president of the AS VšPJ one of his/her powersí.

As a member of the student chamber, I participated in the celebration of November 17th, when I attended the commemoration with Assoc. Horáek represented the VŠPJ at Hlávkov college. In order to ensure that studentsští senátorers have enough peace and space for their práci, they have a´c dedicated room in the VŠPJ building, which they can use for theirýc meetings and otherýc activities. „This místroom has served as a meeting space for the student chamber and místo, where we have been able to address students' concerns with them. How do you become a candidate? Just clická

Becoming a candidate for the AS VŠPJ is notá complicated. All you have to do is clická in the &scaronám informationám system. How to do it? Fromá>the candidacy application, select the AU Elections item in the menu of the informationé>system, followed by the Candidateá> item. After he clicks on the green icon with the Candidate, the system will ask him if he really wants to run. Once the OK item is confirmed, the candidacy is submitted and a confirmation is sent to the candidate's &scaroná email.
