According to the regional council, the VŠPJ is one of the keys to the prosperity of the region

The Council of the Vysočina Region has expressed its support for the only public university in the region in its Programme Statement for the period 2020–2024. According to the Governor of the Vysočina Region Vítezslav Schrek, the Programmeéšení is an intersection of the programmeéch priorities of individual political parties and is prepared with knowledge of the strategic documents of the Vysočina Region. The document, which will be discussed by the Regional Council in the next few years, is composed of three pillars that take into account the quality of life of the inhabitants, sustainable development and prosperity of the Vysočina Region.

The Regional Council sees the development of human resources and their knowledge as one of the key investments in the future of the region. The cooperation with the Polytechnic College Jihlava will contribute to the prosperity of the entire region.
