Rector of the University of Applied Sciences honoured the memory of executed political prisoners

The rector of VŠPJ Václav Bácha attended the commemoration of the 69th anniversary of the execution of political prisoners on Sunday, August 2. The ceremony took place at the memorial to the victims of the trials of the 1950s, located next to the VŠPJ building in Tyršstreet. The historicá reminder is the umí wallá in front of the former&scaron& í prison, in whoseí yard executions took place. This is in the form of a granite flower with the names of one of the men who died on this wall. Seven of them were executed for the so-called Grandma's Fall on August 3, 1951. They were František Kopuletý, Antonín Mityska, Václav Drbola, Drahoslav Němec, František Pařil, Antonín Škrdla and Antonín Plichta. Šit was a úwaterí wave of executions in Babice.  

Karel Veselý, František Rod, Jan Tuček. These are then the names of the people who were executed in the courtyard of the then&scaron& í regionalé courtí prison in the rá rá trial of Babické among the firstí already on June 17, 1950. Their memory was honoured by the rector of the VŠPJ this June at the Jihlava Úmiddleícemetery. You can read more about this here.
