Government approves emergency declaration

The government of the Czech Republic has issued a decree to the Schvášenínew state throughout the úm úlandí of the Czeché Republic. The state ofý&emergency&is&declared&from&2.00pm&on&March&12,2020&for&30&days.

Stát from 6:00 a.m. on March 13, 2020 prohibits with úfrequencyí exceeding úcí 30 peopleí events until further notice. Theí covers´ culturalí, sportsí, ná divineé events, festivals, pilgrimages, parades, fairs and other&scaron&í events. Theában&does¬&apply&to&meetings&and&meetings&ofústate&authorities,&public&authorities&or&courts&and&funerals. China, Southí Korea, Írán, Itálie, Španeland, Austria, Germany, Greatá Britain, France, the Netherlands, Švýcar, Švéd, Norway and Belgium. Ifští citizensé haveá fromá kaz toá the aboveý countries´ travel. Theýimka will be granted to truck drivers, pilots and other&scaron& í people who provide&scaron& í food deliveries. In twoá hours, the Interior Minister issued aacute; výjim for Czechs who work on the Austrian or German sides of the border to cross for pr aacute;ci.

Checks will be reinstated at the German and Austrian borders at midnight on Friday 13 March and Saturday 14 March 2020 due to coronavirus. It will be possible to cross the border at four crossing points with Austria and seven with Germany. A further seven will be open for cross-border contact.

Transport across the border will be restricted. It will be possible to use a bus or train to get to the pá. From midnight on Saturday, March 14, 2020, only private transport will be available. Inšem Czechý citizens in foreign´ will be allowed náreturn.

The government of the Czech Republic has also banned theáingáofágyms, libraries, discotheques and otheráísimilar&facilities. Restaurants and bars will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
