Want to exercise your brain and find out if you are one of the 2% most intelligent people in the world? In this online workshop for middle school and elementary school students in grades 7-9, we'll explore examples like Lying and Truthful Claims.
The assignments, which will be guided by academics from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Applied Sciences Ing. Stanislava Dvořáková, Ph.D., and RNDr. Ing. Hana Kotoučková, Ph.D., are based on logical thinking. Therefore, no special mathematical knowledge is needed. After the explanation of the possible solution procedure, you will be given space to solve the puzzles on your own, you will be able to communicate with the lecturer and compete with each other.
The Einsten Puzzle Workshop will take place from 11.00 to 11.45 on the MS Teams platform HERE.
The lecture will take place on the occasion of Brain Week, a festival of the latest discoveries and trends in brain research and neuroscience, which is part of Brain Awareness Week (BAW) - a global campaign to raise public awareness of the achievements and benefits of brain research. The tradition of Brain Week in the Czech Republic was initiated and founded by Czech neuroscientist Professor Josef Syka in 1998.
