  • The condition for admission to study is attaining secondary education with a school-leaving examination (successfully passed the school-leaving examination at secondary school).
  • Applicants are admitted to study based on an application for study and proof of passing the school-leaving examination. The maximum number of students admitted to the study programme may total 195 in both study forms, with a maximum of 98 in the combined form of study. The date and time of application are decisive for admission to study within the maximum number of students.
  • Acceptance of applicants for study who are foreign nationals (except for Slovak nationals) is also subject to proof of knowledge of the Czech language. This knowledge can be proved by a school-leaving examination in the Czech language (successful completion of the school-leaving examination at a Czech secondary school) or by passing an entrance examination in the Czech language at the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. The exam consists of a written multiple-choice test (testing knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, max. 20 points) and an oral interview (understanding of the spoken word, ability to interact, and talking about the motivation, expectations and immediate needs of the applicant, max. 20 points).

For the full text of the admission requirements for the 2025/2026 academic year, please see HERE.

I got to the school quite by accident, after leaving my job in Brno, when I decided to extend my student years. I enjoyed the field of applied computer science very much, not to mention the good student years. But the Polytechnic College basically changed my life. Thanks to this school, besides my education, I have a job I enjoy, in which I want to develop myself, right on the grounds of this university with great people.

The smaller number of students gave more room for a more individual approach during studies and practice. I am continuing my studies and working as an IT Analyst.
